Every year stock DSB a list of serious incidents which Norwegian society should be prepared to face.
Last year consisted report National Risk Photo of 20 events. This year it added two scenarios; school shooting and foodborne infection.
The list of the 22 events may look like this:

Revenge common motive for school shooting
The risk for school shooting are based on information from research, investigation reports and media coverage of school shootings in other countries, writes DSB on their websites.
In the interim report states that revenge is often subject at school shooting. Referring inter alia to an analysis conducted by the US Secret Service, where it appears that more than three quarters of skoleskytingene goal is to frame them that have bothered or bullied perpetrator.

Happens often in white middle class neighborhoods
One of the sources of the report, violence researcher Raghild Bjørnebekk, reports that school shootings are more common in white middle class neighborhoods and that they rarely happens in schools where there is a lot of violence and other problems.
Typical for schools is that they usually located in smaller places where teachers and parents know each other from before, and where it is difficult to address problems with the children, according to the report.
– It is important that the authorities are following up the individual pupil, is coordinated. Schools must have a contingency plan for school shooting, and it must be practiced. It is also important that teachers, school health and other relevant actors are given the necessary knowledge about the school shooting and the typical culprits, says Daae.
High likelihood of foodborne infection
Infection caused by E. coli -bakterier is basically for sub-report on foodborne infection, which is based on the outbreak in Germany in 2011 and in Norway in 2006.
The likelihood of a new outbreak one described as “high”. This means that it can occur once within 10-100 years, said the report.
– There have been no cases of school shooting in Norway, but we have had outbreaks of foodborne and waterborne infections. We must be prepared and analyzes provide a good foundation, says Justice and Emergency Minister Anders Anundsen (FRP) in a press release.
E. coli outbreak in 2006
- The outbreak comprised 17 patients, of whom 10 children developed kidney failure (HUS), with fatal.
- The patients with HUS were aged 2-8 years, and patients with diarrhea were from 1.5 to 18 years.
