Man critically injured after shooting in Oslo – Romsdals Budstikke

The shooting episode happened in a stairwell on Haarklou space Torshov, east of Oslo. Police were alerted by AMK-center at 18.11 on Wednesday evening.

No people are currently detained, but police believe it is about one offender.

– We are looking for an offender with large forces, said operations manager Christian Krohn Engeseth in Oslo police said.

Unknown culprit

The reason for the shooting is not yet known, but police writes on Twitter that they have no information that suggests that the offender is dangerous for others.

There are a lot of police officers on site. An area is cordoned off, and police seeking among other dogs.

– We have many clues we’re working on, but at present we are looking for an unknown culprit, says operations manager Rune Hekkelstrand police.



Had been in apartment

The victim is a man in the middle 20s. He is brought to Ullevål hospital with injuries that police describe as critical.

According to Dagbladet is the man hit by two shots.

– We examine what relationship he had to address. He had been in an apartment there, said operations manager Rune Hekkelstrand police said.

Police onsite interviewing witnesses and do other research. People who may have information on the case, please contact the police.

– We have talked to several witnesses who have interesting details, saying Hekkelstrand.
