SV willing to do everything possible to shed government: Switch red-green guarantee … – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Many interpret it as a violation when Lysbakken says he will not be the guarantor of a Red-Green government. Lysbakken disembarking he will “go to the election in a different way.”

– We’re not going to go for election on an agreement with the Labour Party and the Centre Party, but in a deal with voters, said SV leader Audun Lysbakken in speech to the party’s National Board Friday.

The clear message was elaborated as follows:

– In three choices in a row we have been campaigning to sit in government with two distinct sections. SV has been the guarantor of a Red-Green government. In the coming elections we will go to the choice of any obvious political demands, and let government obligations come in second place, sounds modest SV leader.

– Violation?

Lysbakken stressed that politics is more important than positions and that several forms of cooperation with a new government may be applicable. They can go into a new government, they may have a formal partnership and they can be in opposition.

Although not a formal red-green cooperation today, there was a strong signal from the leader of a party that at the three previous elections have gone into choosing to sit in government with Labor.

The conclusion of many is that SV brøyt with the coalition cooperation. NTB reported it immediately, which also Dagbladet did. VG described it as the SV “leaves red-green cooperation” and in Aftenposten “waving SV goodbye” to the coalition cooperation.

– New form of cooperation

But eventually wanted SV correct interpretation of the bulk of Norwegian media. They believe namely that this does not constitute a violation or that they leave a relationship. So what was the SV really tried to communicate?

– There is a new form of cooperation in the center / left side. We go to the selection in a different way than in 2005, 2009 and 2013. We will be a guarantor to trap the blue government, but there are different ways we can cooperate afterward, says Audun Lysbakken Dagbladet.

– What is the most precise interpretation then?

– It is that we should put politics first. Today there is not a formalized cooperation, so when we break nor the cooperation, but we suggest new terms.

– But for many voters perceived it as well that you have an informal relationship?

– It does it certainly, but many will now have a clear SV which also dares to speak up when we stand for something other than Ap, such as in refugee policy.

– Must turn, but not change

– It should be big changes to labor so that you may work with them?

– We do not require they must change, we must focus on what we’re going to get approval for.

– But you said in your speech that you hope Ap should turn?

– We ask them turning and we are clear that is critical to a number of choices Labor has taken in refugee policy this winter.

– This is as much a message to SV internally and externally to Parliament and the electorate?

– This is a strategy to ensure the most support for issues voters are concerned. We’re not going to lock us into something kind of cooperation until we are confident that we will have nothing left. We must have a real shift in environmental and distribution policy.

– This is also a clear guarantee to collaborate on what is most important, namely to remove the incumbent government. We are open to cooperate with several parties. It applies KrF if they decide to switch sides, and MDG.

– On the sidelines

According to SV is thus not a violation, but KrF Knut Arild Hareide believes in any case that it is enough movement in Lysbakken speech that SV has now placed themselves on the sidelines.

– I note that even when it comes to government alternatives set SV is now sidelined. Of course it is their full right and their choice. The same strategy they have followed also in the face of the refugee situation, says Hareide said.
