Four buses on fire in Baerum – TV 2

It burned four buses Furubakken in Bekkestua in Bærum on Monday night.

The buses are hybrid buses and stands on Norway Bus’ area. There were six buses in the yard, and four of these caught fire. The fire is now extinguished.

– It is extinguished, but the fire department operates by extinguishing the place. It was fairly high temperature, said operations Tone Kavli in Asker and Bærum Police to TV2 5:15 am on Monday.



Pending traffic problems

The buses are hybrid buses, and according Police there Nettbuss owns them.

The police was notified of the fire from the fire brigade in time 2:41 on Monday night. An hour later the fire brigade control.

– They managed to restrict the fire so it does not spread to the other two buses, says Kavli.
