17-year-old found dead in trunk after car chase: – There was no sign of … – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Police investigating apparent after a 17-year-old boy last night was found dead in the trunk of a car at Grünerløkka in Oslo.

However, there are still many unanswered questions and an unclear chain of events of what happened.

It was 2:23 in the night police received word from a witness that a person was thrown into the trunk of a car on Vestli in Oslo.

The police were close instead and found the car and tried to stop it. The driver, however, would not stop for control and drove towards the city center. It ended in a car chase in downtown Oslo, after which police found 17-year-old.

– The victim was dead when he was found, but had no other injuries. There were no signs of visible injuries, said duty manager at the correctional guard in Oslo, Janne Krogslund, told Dagbladet.

Four indicted

In the car it was counting aggrieved total of five people born between 1996 and 2001. Three of the occupants are arrested and sitting in the central jail to Oslo police. The youngest of those who yesterday was detained by the police is only 14 years and was handed over to child protection guard. The four are now charged.

– Basically, they are charged with driving while intoxicated or complicity in this. The further investigation will clarify whether they may be charged with other criminal offenses. But it’s early in the investigation, and the accused is not questioned yet, nor offended, says jourhavende Juris in Oslo police Henrik Rådal.

– The plan is to interrogate the four during the day. We will hopefully start questioning during the morning, says Rådal Dagbladet.

Police also want to question the formærmede boy during the day, but know this morning is not the boy’s health condition. Sunday morning, he has not been being approached end.

The police are yet reluctant information about conditions and events in the case. However, they are still very early in the investigator and must interrogate the accused before possibly screened for other conditions.

The aggrieved 17 year old boy is hospitalized at Ullevål hospital and undergoing today several surveys. He was of the patrol on site in Oslo termed as lifeless and had weak pulse.

What has happened before or during the about twelve kilometer long journey from Vestli to Thorvald Meyers gate at Grünerløkka in Oslo is still unknown. Car chase lasted about 20 minutes but it was not particularly great speed or damage to other people.

The journey ended dramatically when one of the police cars drove the car with the arrested person in order to stop it.

– The case, as it stands now, is being investigated by Stovner police. The Bureau has been notified, as usual when there has been a bilforfølgelse, said operations manager Ola Krokan Dagbladet earlier today.
