(Dagbladet): Borgarting Court of Appeal had set aside nearly three weeks to appeal the case of the so-called Vollen murder, and was scheduled to start up the matter on 9 February this year.

Nowadays however postponed indefinitely, getting Dagbladet lit.

– The case is postponed. The girl is so sick that she is not able to conduct the case. She is hospitalized, says the now 16-year-old girl defends Cecilie Nakstad Dagbladet.

16-year-old was last summer was sentenced to detention for nine years, with minimum term of six years premeditated murder of Anna Kristin Gillebo Backlund (30).

– Bothersome

Anna worked on child welfare institution Small units in Asker, and were killed on October 28, 2014.

For the relatives it is a burden that the matter is now postponed, says counsel Siv Hallgren, who represents the family of the deceased Anna Kristin Gillebo Backlund.

– The family would like to become finished with this, says Hallgren Dagbladet.

The prosecutor in the case is Attorney Einar Forde.

– I have received confirmation from the Court of Appeal that the case is suspended pursuant to a petition from the defense counsel, says Forde told Dagbladet.

It was the girl who along with his defense counsel appealed from the district court.

According defends Nakstad have it after the District Court’s judgment obtained new information about the girl’s mental health, which gives reason to question the experts’ conclusion that she was sane moment in deed.

– This will be thoroughly discussed from us defenders in connection with the appeal, which is probably coming up this fall, says Nakstad.
