Girl (10) critically injured – stuck in snow bank under outdoor play – NRK

– It was operated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation on site, and the girl is flown by air ambulance to St. Olav’s Hospital in Trondheim, says Bård Krogstad in Trøndelag police.

Krogstad says to NRK that the girl was outside playing with a shovel in the snow when the accident occurred. She should have been stuck upside down in a hole she had dug in the snow.

– She should have been playing out alone when she was stuck in a snow bank outside the place in the guest farm where the family stayed, says Krogstad.

A neighbor discovered the girl and together with health workers nearby have started CPR until the air ambulance arrived at the scene, police said.

Police was notified of the accident clock 23.33.
