Paragliding Accident at Emblem Mountain – Sunnmørsposten

Møre og Romsdal Hospital Trust reported Tuesday night that the man in 40 years being treated for serious injuries in intensive care, but that he should be stable.

We received notification from AMK at 20.17. They report that the air ambulance is on its way to the top of the ski lift in Spjelkavik. The person should be a piece below in easily accessible terrain, said Jon Brattland, opersjonsleder police at Sunnmøre, shortly after the accident became known.

He said that the observed glider flying in toward Bigtonhytta, before they later saw that the man had fallen. The accident they observed not.

Air ambulance arrived at the scene shortly before the man was flown to Ålesund Hospital.
