– You can not really compare it to a funnel which can only expand in one end, says county leader in Norwegian Truck Owners Federation (NLF) Oslo and Akershus, Harry Nilsen, told NRK. Road capacity will be increased between Sandvika and Lysaker, but it’s not planned any further development of Lysaker through Oslo.
– And it is from Lysaker to Oslo’s main problem lies. That’s where the traffic going into Oslo and the Oslo pile up, he said.
Negotiations between Oslo and Akershus Oslo Package 3 should have been
finalized on 10 May, but now goes into overtime. The objective of the parties is still to agree on a deal that could be presented to the City Council and County Council in the summer holidays.
