16 year old arrested after stabbing in Oslo – VG

A man is taken to hospital with apparent serious injuries after a violent episode in Galgeberg in Oslo.

Police have arrested a 16 year old boy after what was probably a stabbing on Galgeberg in Oslo on Friday night.

– it all began at 1:24, when we received calls from residents in an increase in Dale Haugen on Galgeberg, who had heard cries and screaming and someone shouted “knife” outside, said operations manager Tor Jøkling the Oslo police told VG.

Several armed police patrols were sent to the site, as well as ambulances.

– When our crews arrived they came across a person in recovery who had damage in several places on the body. The paramedics arrived just the heels of the police, and they got the person into the ambulance and drove him quickly to the hospital. There is aggrieved to treatment now, says Jøkling.



Probably seriously injured

The man’s condition is not known to the police, but Jøkling referring to the fact that they were driven to hospitals, and not emergency care, as an indication that the man apparently seriously injured.

He says that police squads that came out, managed to exchange a few words with the injured man, which could have helped police search by perpetrators.

The first reports from witnesses was that the man was attacked by three people, but police believe they have now arrested the mastermind behind the plot, says Jøkling.



questioning Saturday

– from various witness observations and personal knowledge we came out before the name of a suspect, on the basis of the information we jumped at an address in Toyen. On the outside of this address encountered we suspect, we arrested without drama. So there is a 16 year old boy, who now sits in jail and will be questioned on Saturday morning, said Jøkling.

The police will use questioning and further investigation to discover whether more people were involved in the incident.

the CPS is notified of the proceedings.
