It was a little before 14.00 Saturday afternoon emergency receiving notification of the accident in a housing estate on the island of Tromsø in Tromso.
– It’s a boy of one year that has fallen from a fourth floor window on a normal house. He fell out and landed on a lawn 10-12 meters depressed window, said operations manager Eirik Kileng in Troms police.
The boy was taken to the University Hospital of North Norway by ambulance, after the event.
– the boy has escaped with minor injuries, said Communications Jan Fredrik Frantzen at UNN.
Frantzen says the boy will remain under observation until tomorrow Sunday.
– We regard this as an accident and has no reason to believe anything else, says Kileng.
the police have now created a undersøkelsessak and will now examine witnesses on the spot. According Kileng it is uncertain whether anyone saw the fall, but there were people to place in residential house accident.
