There were three men at 27, 28 and 34 years who died in a blasting accident at Geilo last week, reports the Northern Buskerud Police District.
Police freed Thursday the names of Gideon Rydningen (34), Stian Engravslia Nilsen (28) and Vytautas Matulevicius (27), who perished in the accident. The two younger men were from Kongsberg, while the oldest came from Skien.
before it is known that all three worked in Årstein Jensen Rock Blasting in Kongsberg, a subcontractor working on site.
The accident occurred last Wednesday. According to NRK shattered a drill rod and came in contact with dynamite. Directorate of Security and Emergency Planning (DSB) say they have found the cause of the accident.
The police finished their work at the accident site Friday last week. Then they had 18 kilograms of dynamite was left at the scene, been blown to controlled demolition.
