A man died as a result of the powerful explosion on Frya in Sør-Fron, Oppland today.
– I can confirm that a person is found dead in the ruins, said operations manager Atle B. von Obstfelder Gudbrandsdalslågen police earlier.
The police have been working all day to clean up after the explosion in the pig barn, where it stays around for hundreds of pigs.
Earlier tonight E6 was closed when shots were fired in connection with the killing of pigs on the farm, type GD.no.
There were between 400 and 500 pigs in the barn when the building exploded
– There are many dead animals in the barn, said efforts manager Kai Førlandsås.
