first assault allegedly took place sometime in the period January 2007 to April 2008, the second to have taken place in late summer last year, according to the indictment against the man. The man has previously been investigated for the first assault, but the case was dismissed, write Budstikka.
In both cases the man was employed in positions that involved contact with children. The charges shall not include penalty clauses for abuse of position.
The penalty for the most serious relationship is 10 years imprisonment.
– The first case is reopened because of new evidence, said District Attorney Irlin Irgens has been removed from the indictment. She said that the man did not acknowledge culpability.
Man lawyer, Kjell Dagestad, would not comment on the matter before it comes to trial in January. (© NTB)
