Kolberg had the same position at the forefront of the last annual convention in 2013 and again when the party earlier this year agreed on Jonas Gahr Støre as the new leader Jens Stoltenberg.
Central Board of Labor set Monday at the Kolberg renewed confidence as Chairman of the Nomination Committee. Tuesday takes the national executive the final decision.
Several candidates
Labor shall, at the annual meeting in April 2015 elect a new vice chairman by Helga Pedersen and new party secretary for Raymond Johansen.
A variety of names have been mentioned as appropriate substitutes, but little has been resolved and the Nomination Committee have a good time. State in the teams annual meetings should not be held until February / March and Nomination Committee deadline to submit a recommendation is only during the congress in April next year.
Some cards however everything on the table in Aps management team. One of the main favorites for the important post as party secretary, has in fact turned down:
Trondheim’s popular mayor Rita Ottervik runs for re-election again, and have instead launched Trond Giske as a candidate for party leadership. He is highly topical as deputy, but hardly as party secretary, stated historian, chess enthusiast and Social Hans Olav Lahlum against NTB recently.
– I do not think Labour will bring the party secretary of the Parliament. Rules for leave is strict, and it is long in the parliamentary term, believes Lahlum that after several biographies of key Labor Party politicians know the culture better than most.
Tajik
Should Giske be nominated as the new deputy must Nomination Committee find another deputy – for kjønnsbalansens sake. Most regard Hadia Tajik as an obvious candidate in this regard.
Besides Tajik and Giske is Storting Jette Christensen, Ingvild Kjerkol, Else-May Botten, Anniken Huitfeld, Anette Tired Bergestuen and Torgeir Micaelsen mentioned as candidates for deputy chair. The same is central director Kjersti Stenseng from Oppland.
About Labor will debate Energetic Tajik party secretary must be a woman, all the time Jonas Gahr Støre is the party leader. According Lahlum it is impossible to imagine a party lead by four people of which three are men.
According to VG’s acting communications manager Gry Larsen current party secretary. She has worked with the Minister for many years, not least as State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
No matter who gets elected, the Labour Party in less than one year have replaced its entire top leadership at next year’s congress raised. (AFP)
