Danielsen was sentenced to 21 years in detention, with a minimum term of ten years in the Sunnmøre District Court on March 3 this year. He was found guilty of murder, rape and robbery attempt.
He took the time to think and appealed because he wanted regular custodial and non custodial.
Friday it was clear that the Court of Appeal found no reason to moving away from the District Court’s conclusion. Therefore, the entire appeal rejected and the judgment of the court is thus left. The High Court was no doubt that the objective of social protection did custodial punishment to the only correct response to the 24 year old.
– Such conditions are possible in this case means that the appellate court is not in doubt that the objective of social protection suggests that defendant sentenced to detention, says the rationale.
