Found family man objects by water – Bergens Tidende

Family man in his 40s has been missing since Saturday night. – A mystery, police said.

The whole night through Monday, it has been easy for a man in his 40s in Floro. Police have no information about where he may be located, and therefore decided to initiate searches.



Reported missing by family

The man was last seen in the city center at 01 to 01.30 o’clock Saturday night.

– He was reported missing by his family on Sunday evening. He was out on the town in Floro center early Sunday, but no one has heard or seen anything of him since then, said operations manager Olaug Holme police in Sogn og Fjordane on Monday night.

A local says to BT that the water is relatively large, with an extension of more than one kilometer, and that the search seems to have been concentrated on a rather inaccessible , bush-covered area in the eastern part of the water. Divers inserted

Crews from the Red Cross, Norwegian rescue dogs, local fire and civil defense participating in the search for the man, as well as crews from the police.

– Exploration crews are concentrating on Floro center initially. In parallel with the search driver police with ordinary investigation, Holme says.

Police: Family Man

The man is in his mid 40s, and is described as a family man by police. He is a resident of Floro. He should not have been with others when he was last seen.

– He was partly observed by the police. We have no indication of where he might be.

On Monday morning there will be replacements of exploration crews. 16 crews from the Red Cross and 13 of the Civil Defence are among those who have participated in the search in the night.

– I would not say that we are stepping up, but we are replacing crews. We will maintain approximately the same amount of people who will be involved in the search.
