Police believe her daughter’s roommate could have saved Kari (56) – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Telemark Police reported Wednesday morning that they have changed the charges against the murder accused her daughter’s boyfriend, in the case where missing Kari Grønnestad (56) now believed to have been killed after being reported missing in 2012.

Kari Grønnestad vanished June 4th 2012. She had been on a visit with her daughter when she was home to his own apartment elsewhere in Skien. There she never came, and three weeks later she was reported missing.

On Sunday daughter (31) and her partner (34) arrested and charged respectively murder and complicity bodily harm. The man was charged with having prevented the investigation in the case. The charges are now changed.

Both accused in the case refuses guilt.

Defender Tollef Skobba told Dagbladet earlier today that police have announced that they want a new hearing for the man. Police say they have asked the Court of Appeal to consider how incarceration question to be decided.
