Suspect nothing criminal
Kari Grønnestad disappeared after visiting her daughter in June 2012, and police suspected nothing criminal before her daughter’s roommate called them Sunday. According VG jobs police from theory that her daughter killed her mother and then place her in an iron cage as she sunk in Skien River.
By ruling from the remand hearing in Agder High Court shows that 34-year-old explained that Grønnestad died after being subjected to “massive violence”. Police believe 56-year-old was dead when she was sunk in the river.
The new indictment against 34-year-old stems that police believe he could have intervened and rescued Grønnestads lives, but failed to do this.
