Police Attorney and prosecutors Guro Siljan announced earlier today that 34-year-old Sunday called the police and told that the partner had killed his mother, and that he had helped to carry the corpse from the scene.

Police overturned Grønnestads missed case of murder after the phone call with the 34 year old, which occurred in the aftermath of a weekend of violent confrontation between the couple. Two different charges

34 year-old has experienced a tumultuous legal process so far. Police have changed the indictment to omit to help a person in need, and a new detention meeting is therefore scheduled Friday. For now, he thus seated in custody.

The defender, however, believe that the client is released after the remand hearing Friday.

– I hope his version is believed, says Skobba.

Suspect nothing criminal

Kari Grønnestad disappeared after visiting her daughter in June 2012, and police suspected nothing criminal before her daughter’s roommate called them Sunday. According VG jobs police from theory that her daughter killed her mother and then place her in an iron cage as she sunk in Skien River.

By ruling from the remand hearing in Agder High Court shows that 34-year-old explained that Grønnestad died after being subjected to “massive violence”. Police believe 56-year-old was dead when she was sunk in the river.

The new indictment against 34-year-old stems that police believe he could have intervened and rescued Grønnestads lives, but failed to do this.
