Conversely security alarm hardly used – Aftenposten

– The rules are so vague that police lawyers are reluctant to ask the court to take it into use. It lacks a regulation. It must in place, says Guro Angell Gimse and Julie Brodtkorb in Conservatives Women said.

Gimse who is also project manager in Mediation, says there are only three cases where an offender is sentenced to go with conversely security alarm since the scheme was introduced in 2013, one in Buskerud and two in Sor-Trondelag.

Conservative equality committees and Conservatives Women has initiated a political statement that will be adopted during Sunday’s national congress at Gardermoen.

The requirement is that the rules be clarified and that the scheme regulations attached. At Parliament’s Conservative justice policy spokesman Anders Werp ready to roll up our sleeves.

– Many victims experience violence alarm as an extra burden. It is unreasonable that it is they who should bear the burden, while the perpetrator can move freely. To mirror this is an important principle which has our full support, he said.

Right-women also advocates that the scheme can be used in cases where visitation is broken or threats put forward, and not exclusively in cases of violence.

Zone

– Many feel that restraining wrap. With a reverse security alarm, they could feel safe in their own home, says Gimse.

The scheme is simply put out that the perpetrator gets a pass around the bone that connects to a zone around the victim’s neighborhood. Coming perpetrator within the zone, the alarm will go and the police come.

– The principle is that you should be safe in their own homes. The zone is drawn in each case and may constitute an entire municipality, says Gimse.

When Bergens Tidende in March 2014 charted how many assailants who at that time were doomed to go with reverse security alarm, the answer was zero. It has taken several years to develop alarm according to the newspaper cost 49 million.

The statistics from the police showed that it was awarded 1805 mobile violence alarms to violence and threats exposed persons in 2013. The same year it filed 2829 reviews of abuse in family relationships. (© NTB)
