The police turned out to the apartment at Vestli at 4:51 at night, after a person had notified police about the death.

Inside the apartment police might quickly conclude that they faced a murder. The man who is killed in the 60s, and has lived at the address for many years.

Shortly after, a man in his 20s was arrested outside of Oslo. He is charged with murder and will be questioned in the afternoon.

Neighbors are in shock over the murder in the block, located at the top of Vestli, north of Oslo.

– The man my talked to him yesterday. He stood outside and grilled on the porch. When there was nothing to indicate that something was wrong, said a neighbor told Dagbladet.

She describes murder victim as kind and engaged. He should have previously served on the board of the cooperative, and worked as a janitor for residents.

– He was engaged, a particular man, but incredibly kind and nice. We met occasionally at haunt away at Vestli. He was partly fond of dancing, says neighbor.

– It is absolutely terrible. I have been quite shaky all day, she says.

– The dog howled

One of man’s closest neighbors were awakened in the night by the dog who lived in the apartment of the deceased, stood on the porch and howled.

– We heard that the dog stood and howled on the porch all night, says one of the deceased’s immediate neighbors to Dagbladet.

He said that they ibortsett from not heard anything suspicious from the apartment.

– The arrested are in their late 20s, he is charged with intentional murder. He is not previously known to the police. It is a relationship with the victim and the arrested. He will be tried questioned as soon as possible, says Metlid.

The suspect was arrested outside of Oslo, without drama.
