Attorney imprisonment in Skien-killing: – very thin justified – VG

Of the three judges who considered the appeal , said one of them that there was no basis for detention, while two of them thought that the 34-year-old had done was punishable. The two, however, believed it was only a basis for two weeks detention.

– I can not get into the background of the opinions in the ruling, but as I see it, this is a razor justified detention request of the prosecution, and I perceive that the Court of Appeal shares this view, says 34-year-old defender Tollef Skobba VG.

Police believe that his client has left Kari Grønnestad in helpless condition after she was subjected to “massive violence”.

Half-Sister believe she is innocent

Kari Grønnestad (56) disappeared without a trace on 4 June 2012. Last week the police made investigations in Skien River where it was found human remains in an iron cage.

– We have made a discovery that allows us to conclude that it is human. We suppose it’s Kari Grønnestad but must have a formal identification. The discovery is in good shape so that there is hope that we will achieve it, said police lawyer Guro Siljan VG last week.

Kari Grønnestad was found 600 meters from where she last will having been set in 2012.

Then she will have been visiting one daughter in Skien city center, were to take the bus home to her boyfriend on Bølehøgda. There she never came.

– He had no chance to prevent the murder

Police have repeatedly changed the charge against her partner, from complicity in bodily harm, to obstruction of the investigation and to Finally to apply to have left a man in distress.

– They’ve tried with new laws all the time, said Skobba VG last week.

34-year-old also told police that her boyfriend killed her mother and has claimed Skobba given them a detailed explanation about what happened to Grønnestad.

Three-year-old secret

The reason for the arrest was the police described as crucial and new information in the case.

It all started on April 19 when police came to her daughter and partner’s address where there was a heated atmosphere with fighting and trouble.

Neighbors had seen fighting between two men on the spot. The address was also known by the police before.

It was in the wake of uproar in the couple’s apartment, the new sensational information appeared after the VG get enlightened.

The 34-year-old girlfriend Kari Grønnestads daughter then explained the secret the two – according to him – bar. Both were arrested.
