– One of the girls was airlifted to hospital in Drammen with possible fractures in a leg. The other girl transported to Notodden hospitals, enlightened police just above 12 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
Neither of the two should be life-threatening injured.
Drove toboggan
The accident happened in Vierli ski Thursday morning. Police received notification about the accident clock 11:21.
One of the girls is 15 years while the other is 16 years old. Both are from Bamble in Telemark. 15-year-old is flown to Drammen, while 16-year-old is transported to Notodden.
– They have always been conscious, says operations Ole Jørgen Lund Telemark Police NRK.
Collided with a tree
Both paramedics and police who managed to spot.
– AMK report to the police that there is a akeulykke with two girls on sled which has collided with a tree, wrote police Telemark on Twitter just before 12 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
The police have conducted investigations on the spot, and states that there is no basis for any police matter.
Will consider safety
CEO at Vierli Ski Centre, Alexander Hesselberg, said the accident occurred in one of the trails in the toboggan hill at Vierli.
– All trails are secured, but it’s hard cause here now, says Hesselberg NRK.
He will collect the employees later today to talk about the accident while going through security at the ski center.
– We will see if there are any precautions we can do better. We are waiting for a report from those involved from our rescue team, tells Hesselberg.
