Almost every day there is a fire or one fire in Norwegian schools or kindergartens, shows an overview of the Directorate for safety and preparedness.
– It’s just coincidence that makes it no more large fires in Norwegian schools and kindergartens, says director Dagfinn Kalheim in Norwegian brannvernforening to P4.
The figures from the Directorate for safety and preparedness shows that there were 64 school and kindergarten fires last year, and every tenth fire was affixed. They almost daily fires and fire outbreak is not reported because they do so much damage.
– Very many of these started out, and they are usually applied, said Kalheim.
He does not believe necessarily that the idea is to burn down the school or kindergarten, but that it is much boy dashes out walking.
– They do not see the consequences of what they do, and it’s just coincidence that makes it not being a big fire of it, says Kalheim.
