The police was notified of the incident clock 00.09, and arrested shortly after a man in his 20s charged with the stabbing.
It was several witnesses to the incident. The accused was in place when we arrived, and the arrest occurred without incident, said operations manager Anne Meyer in Vestfold police.
Vestfold Hospital designated Monday morning condition as critical but stable for knife victim.
Police have cordoned off the scene in an
apartment, and will undertake forensic examinations on Monday. 
The accused will be interrogated on Monday morning.
