Islands scope selected Lippestad who defend – Dagbladet.no

A Dutch court will Wednesday decide the question of extradition of Kim Andreas Kristiansen, who is accused of killing his stepfather in the Islands. After the hearing, the Norwegian police know more about how long it will take to get him extradited to Norway, writes Gudbrandsdal Police in a press release.

Kristiansen resigned himself to the police in Rotterdam on Monday after eleven days on the run. Tuesday afternoon could Acting Police Chief Olav Sørby state that 23-year-old has requested the lawyer Geir Lippestad who defend when he comes to Norway.



Not talking

– I have not yet spoken to the client, but now writes a letter to South Gudbrandsdal District Court. Where can I request to be appointed in accordance with his desire me as his defender, says Lippestad NTB Tuesday afternoon.

Kristiansen is questioned by Dutch police, but the Norwegian police would not comment on whether he has come concessions or other important information related to the murder. It will be made new interrogation when the accused coming to Norway.

Geir Lippestad said he will wait and see if he will be traveling to the Netherlands to meet Kristiansen there. The question depends on how fast the 23 year old may be disclosed to Norway.

Stick Injuries

Kim Andreas Kristiansen is accused of killing his stepfather, Woody Hansen (58), Oyer, Oppland on Thursday 14 August. The remains of his stepfather was found in a fire in Hafjell Thursday for nearly two weeks ago.

In the VG experience, the investigation revealed that her stepfather suffered stab wounds and died as a result. The murder allegedly committed in the apartment that murder accused and his stepfather shared.

The final report on the autopsy of the deceased is not finished, and the police would therefore not comment on the cause of death.

Traveled Friday

– We know that he traveled to the Netherlands on Friday night, the day after the body was found, and that he landed that night. We do not know anything about why he traveled to the Netherlands, says Sørby.

Last week a 21 year old friend of Kristiansen arrested and jailed for perjury in the same case. He is also suspected of involvement in the murder. Blodspor in the car as 21-year-old’s disposal should be among the evidence.

Police is continuing the examination of witnesses and technical studies.
