Eight injured in mass brawl in Fredrikstad – Bergens Tidende

Police received notification fray clock 16.42 Friday afternoon and described as the situation as disordered. Friday night it was still not fully clarified what had happened, but ten people must have been involved.

Blood and tears

According to police, four people taken to hospital and four to emergency . Of eight people who needed medical attention were six injured.

– The other two were not exposed to violence, but still needed medical care, illuminated Herstad.

Apparently children and pregnant women among the witnesses to the mass brawl.

Chaotic

Police have finished their investigations on the spot where the fight broke out. Friday night was no arrested after the incident, but police worked to interrogate several people.

All those involved in the fray were adult women and men. According Herstad is the youngest injured born in the 1990s, while the oldest was born in the 40s.

– We have no overview of what relationship they have to each other, said Herstad said.



Neighbour Swept

Bet Director Arve Hermansen indicated to Fredriksstad sheet that a dispute over parking could be the reason it broke out brawl between people from two houses.

The wife of one of men who suffered head injuries, says TV 2 that it all started when a man visiting the neighboring house came up in their farm. Her husband stood outside and washed the car.

– He went my husband down the road, where he was tried strangled and suffered head injuries. We had several guests visit. They came rushing to and it was mass brawl, she claims.

According to the police it was not used weapons during the fight, but those involved should have used wood and twigs.
