Anundsen refuses to answer Parliament on asylum proceedings – NRK

– I am surprised that we have a Minister of Justice whose principle that he does not answer Parliament, says Jette Christensen NRK.

Labor politician, who sits in SCSCA in Parliament, is upset that Anders Anundsen writes that he of “principled reasons” will not answer whether he tried to negotiate away from criticism and distrust from the Christian Democrats and Left under SCSCA processing asylum case.

25. March told both Dagsavisen and NRK that Anundsen offered support parties KrF and Left a trade: if they dropped mistrust and strong criticism, they should get the message across that some families who were sent out of the country were getting their asylum cases processed again.

Will not answer the principle

The case caused a sensation in Parliament. In a written letter demanded Control Committee Member, Per Olaf Lundteigen (Q), an answer to whether the information was true. Monday came the reply from the Minister of Justice. He refers to the cooperation between the government and the Christian Democratic Party and the Liberal Party, and points out that the four parties have majority in Parliament:

Q: – Difficult to take the matter further

Last week was the inflamed asylum case resolved. KrF and Left succeeded that certain long remaining asylum children will have their processed (see fact box).

Lundteigen says to Bergens Tidende that the answer from Anundsen and asylum agreement makes it difficult for him to take the matter further.

– Anundsen will not say anything. KrF and Left have reached agreement with the government on a deal. I expect that they batten down the hatches. If no one will stand up, it is not possible for me to follow the matter further, he says the newspaper.

Topics at the meeting Tuesday

Labor and SV are now discussing how to go forward to get to the bottom of the case.

– This will be discussed during the meeting tomorrow, said Christensen NRK Monday.

– But is not it understandable that a Minister will not comment internal conversations with co parties?

– I think that committee and the public has nothing to know if it is so that we have a Minister of Justice who use the Constitution as a political currency. Political negotiations happen all the time, but to believe that one can buy trust by political horse-trading, is unknown in the political system as we know it today.

It has not succeeded NRK to get a comment from Anundsen Monday afternoon.
