23-year-old convicted of assault on 86-year-old woman – Dagbladet.no

A 23-year-old man is in Tonsberg District Court sentenced to three years and eight months in prison for assaulting an 86-year-old woman.

In addition, the 23 year old pay 125,000 dollars in compensation to the woman, writes Tønsberg Blad.

86-year-old was attacked and abused in November last year when she went through an underpass at an intersection on Nøtterøy, on the way home from Saturday trading in Tønsberg.

23-year-old acknowledges that he assaulted the woman, but explained in court that he did not remember anything. From the facts of the case he concluded nevertheless that he was the perpetrator.

– I’ve had a Uggen feeling inside me. I have read about the case in the media. But I remember nothing from the Saturday. I was very intoxicated, said 23-year-old in court in connection with that he was detained in November last year.

In addition to abuse, is 23-year-old sentenced for beating another man for vandalism , drug use, storage of brass knuckles and complicity to threaten a man with a gas pistol. The 23 year old has received 133 days in deductions for time he has been in custody.
