Base Hopper died after jumping in Romsdal – Adresseavisen

The man in 30s was found at 1000 meters altitude in the mountains this afternoon at 13.08.

– There are too early to say what might have happened, said operations manager Jan Helge Cool in Nordmøre and Romsdal police.

Keel tells however Adresseavisen that there were two comrades who were jumping from the mountain. The deceased in the 30s was the last of the two who were jumping.

– The friend became concerned when he did not come by, said Keel to Adresseavisen.

Basejumper was reported missing clock 12:12, shortly after the jump. Just after the clock 14 Sunday police said that the man is dead and extracted from the mountain area.

– The jump happened twenty minutes before the message came, says Keel.

The man was confirmed dead at the scene.

Keel says that it is very steep terrain in the area where the base jumper killed.
