Boy (14) died after being hit – NRK

On Friday night there was a collision between a fourteen year old bicyclist and a motorist on Båsmoen in Rana municipality. The boy died Sunday of injuries he suffered in the collision.

University Hospital in Tromsø have informed the police that the cyclist who was hit on Båsmoen in Rana Municipality Friday night, died of injuries he suffered.

the incident occurred Friday afternoon outside the food store Bunnpris on Båsmoen. The boy was sent to Helgelandssykehuset i Rana, with serious head injuries.

Helgelandssykehuset enlightened NRK Saturday that the boy was transferred to the University Hospital in Tromso, who confirmed to NRK that the boy had very serious injuries.

on Sunday morning confirms police that the hospital has informed them that the boy has died as a result of injuries he suffered.

police have conducted surveys on site and questioned motorist and witnesses in the case.

Currently, the police talked to four people, including the driver of the car. The police said that several witness statements are required to get the full picture of the event.
