Uncertainty prevails in the small village Finsrud in Eidskog by Swedish border after a 77-year-old was brutally beaten, tied up and robbed at his home Tuesday night. Most people who live in the small village is older and reacts with disbelief over the robbery.
Ole Finsrud is the brother of robbery victim and lives just a few hundred meters the basis of his brother.
– This is grim for the entire village. We hear it happening elsewhere, but do not think it could happen in ourselves. People think it’s terrible, those who live here are afraid.
– Physically strong
Rans The victim is in hospital and Finsrud tells his brother are doing well under the circumstances.
– There is no inner injuries, but he has a part failure. He is very physically strong to be 77, so such a set does he cope with it pretty well.
He thinks someone has kept the farm where his brother lives under surveillance.
– It must have been someone who has span of time. Someone was knocking on and would in twelve o’clock at night a few weeks ago to borrow the phone. But if it has any relationship I do not know.

The police have started questioning the victim and the family. Besides investigating crime technicians rather than forensic evidence.
– We put all available resources into the case in hopes of resolving it, said police attorney Bjorn Inge Pettersen.
