A dead dog is found in a wooden box on the shore in Kyrksæterøra, reports the operations center in Sor-Trondelag on Twitter.
according to police, it is uncertain whether the dog is drowned.
police in Hemne and Snillfjord, Anette Ertvåg, states that the dog owner is questioned by police.
– The person said the dog was euthanized before it was added at checkout, said Ertvåg.
The dog will now be autopsied and police will try to find the cause of death. There are police wildlife crime group that will work on the case.
