Critical condition for 13-year-old after boating accident – Dagbladet.no

The state is critical for the 13 year old boy who fell into the sea at Stokmarknes in Vesterålen Friday.

The boy was taken to University Hospital in Tromso the hospital says to NTB Saturday morning that the condition is critical. A new update on the state of health is expected Sunday.

AMK was notified of the accident at 16.20 Friday afternoon. When the boy had fallen into the lake from a motorboat.

– The boy was alone in a small boat when he fell into the water. People on shore alerted police and a fellow came and got picked him up from the water and taken him to land, said operations manager Grete Birkeland police in Harstad said.
