A trailer went off the road in Skjenalddalen in Orkdal and overturned Sunday morning. Police were alerted 8.50. The trailer was on its way to Freya and had run from Mandal, police said.
The trailer was loaded with wrasse being used on fish farms to get rid of lice.
The trailer should have come too far out on the shoulder of the road, which led to the road gave way, said police officer Ole Bjørhovde which is on site.
Poitiers reports on Twitter that the road will be closed in connection with the salvage.
Injured
The driver and passenger got out of the car, both bruised and are driven to the emergency room in Orkdal, says operations manager Astrid Metlid police in Trondelag. They should have got a punch when the car overturned and should have had a sore neck, pain in one foot and otherwise be bruised, according to Operations Officer.
The driver is a 29 year old man and the passenger is a man of 35. They are both Norwegian.
– The trailer had eight tanks of 1,500 liters each tank, said police officer Ole Bjørhovde. He states that the fish is lost. It has punctured several of mind and some fish has run out.
– It has drained the diesel from trailer and sharing the road has got a punch and is slightly damaged. Road Administration is informed, says operations manager Metlid. There should be no traffic problems.
Towing ordered
The police also ordered recovery services, and they are working to contact the recipient of the cargo.
NPRA writes on Facebook that it must be expected traffic problems on the spot when the salvage of the cargo begins.
