When informed SAS that plane was set indefinitely because of bomb threat.
– there has been a bomb threat here at the airport, was the message to the passengers.
airport Manager Inger-Hilde Tobiassen at Bodø airport not aware of any bomb threat at the airport when Dagbladet contacted.
She examined matter and report back:
– It was reflected in the security control of chemical substance on a passenger, which could give suspicion of use to bomb. Therefore, the police were routinely notified. Closer investigation and police chat with passenger showed that there was a real bomb threat.
– The man had washed the car the day before and the probable explanation is that it was a chemical from carwash who did outlets, said airport manager Inger-Hilde Tobiassen Dagbladet.
She is glad that the procedures for abnormal outlets at the security checkpoint worked as planned – and that the clarification came so quickly that it seems to have been some delays in traffic to and from Bodø Airport.
– A flight to Bergen may have been slightly delayed, but it had other reasons, says airport boss told Dagbladet.
