Erna about Listhaug-criticism: – Sylvi has been completely inaccurate – Dagbladet.no

GARDERMOEN (Dagbladet): Hadia Tajik (Ap) challenges today Minister Torbjørn Røe Isaksen (H) to answer what he thinks about the way Sylvi Listhaug user statistics.

– He fails to clearly distance from List Haugs use of research. I mean it is totally unacceptable, for that country’s Minister of Education, I believe he must set a clear standard for what is acceptable use of research and not, say Tajik Dagbladet.

The background is a chronicle immigration minister has written on NRK Freedom, and which in recent days has been criticized by the research hold.

Erna: – totally inaccurate

Erna Solberg also takes speak out and tells Dagbladet that Listhaug has been “completely imprecise “in his article, but she rejects claims that the government consistently misusing research to their advantage.

– I do not understand that there should be no pattern. Sylvi has done an abbreviation that has been totally inaccurate in an article on freedom. The bill, however, is clearly on a good discussion of these topics. And Per Sandberg statement was something else: He believed that research should be a little more enthusiastic, and so he believes himself misunderstood that it would affect their performance, says Solberg told Dagbladet.

raising not through the media

Among other University Rector Ole Petter Ottesen has been questioning the minister’s statistics use. Listhaug also acknowledged that some of the contents of the chronicle was inaccurately rendered and also based on personal experience.

– I do not perceive that Sylvi not take the criticism this. She said that it was oversimplified, says Erna.

– Will you talk to them about this?

– I cast no educational activities through the media, answering prime minister.

Røe Isaksen: – I have not read the research

Also Minister Thorbjorn Røe Isaksen (H) received several direct questions about the topic under Dagsnytt eighteen yesterday but would not answer clearly on List Haugs use of research.

The Minister tells Dagbladet that he has not read the research Listhaug claim to rely on.

– I have not read these reports and therefore can not go into the substance of the issue of unaccompanied minors, but Sylvi Listhaug saidst that chronicle so was not research findings not very accurately reproduced.

– Tajik ask you renounce List Haugs use of research. Will you do it?

– I am glad that Sylvi Listhaug himself has said that the research results were not accurately reported in the chronicle.

Separating policy and research

Røe Isaksen reminds, however, that he as Minister posits that all government members – also Listhaug – hazards with facts, not fiction, when research is presented in the media.

Politics has nothing in research to do, reminds Røe Isaksen:

– I assume that all ministries, including the Ministry of Justice, is clear on the important distinction between science and politics. It is important to have good understanding of roles. It is the Ministry of Justice who must answer for the use of research in this matter, but that said it is always important that we have a clear distinction between research findings and our political positions, he says to Dagbladet.

– Respect research

Hadia Tajik claimed Saturday morning that Røe Isaksen “goes pretty far in saying that it made other types of format requirements for an article than to a political assessment.”

It rejects Røe Isaksen cash. Also ministers must adhere to the research as it is, he says, without commenting on the debate around Listhaug directly.

– When politicians use research so we have to respect the research findings, and have a clear distinction between what’s political views and what is research conclusions. We should not take the research for the benefit of political views if there is no coverage for it, said the Minister.

Tajik has warned that when Røe Isaksen concludes Conservative national convention this weekend, and arrive at work on Monday so there will be a letter from her inbox his. They appeal Ap-top on a clear clarification of Røe Isaksens outlook on List Haugs chronicle.
