Cargo due at Wolf Sundet – Dagbladet.no

Police said the ship was heading north in the wolf strait in Vågsøy municipality when it ran aground.

– The Coast Guard and rescue is on site. There were no reports that the ship taking on water, said operations manager Per Rimmer in Western Police District.

He says that it is good weather in the area and that the ship is close to shore, so the situation is not particularly dramatically.

– But the ship recovers enough not by reason of their own, so the water level is now, he said.

The cause of the grounding is not yet known. The ship will be examined by divers.

– The crew gets enough on board, says Rimmer.

The police were notified of the incident by JRCC at 4:02 Saturday night.
