Raymond Johansen accusations FRP to spread fear – Aftenposten

– It shall be understood as a warming, says immigration policy spokesperson Eirik Sivertsen said.

– Labor is more open after this congress than we were before when it comes to looking at how we can make adjustments to better take care of asylum children who have come to Norway to seek protection, he said.

Labour’s handling of asylum children case has provoked many of the delegates at the congress. Several have requested a reorientation in asylum policy. Now it is here.

Human is the new word

In a statement adopted by the congress Friday states that “Labor will lead a humane, fair and consistent refugee and asylum policy “.

For many years, the Labor advocates in the field stressed that the party advocates a” strict but fair “asylum policy.

– Norway must take greater responsibility for displaced persons . Meanwhile, everyone who gets a final rejection of the asylum application out of the country, said outgoing Helga Pedersen when she presented the statement of the congress.

– I think we’ve found a good balance. Now we translate this into practical politics, says Sivertsen.

Barns best be important

The statement uses a lot of space on asylum children’s situation. Among other consideration is argued that while remaining children to attend child conversation with management as part of a petition for stay.

– This will strengthen the relationship that the assessment of children’s best to be a fundamental consideration, pointed out.

Labor endorses agreement cooperation parties KrF and Left signed with the government on a new assessment of the cases of long remaining children. More uncertain is what Ap do with tightening as FRP got negotiated in place.

– We have not taken a position on 100 percent. We must see what they imply, says former party secretary Raymond Johansen said.

Increased grants

On Friday, the proposal to bring 10,000 quota refugees from Syria to Norway the next two years adopted unanimously congress.

To help the wait in reception centers goes down, Ap increase integration grant for refugees who have been waiting over six months to 100,000 dollars per resident refugee and strengthen Housing schemes.

Labor also pray that match the interpreters who worked for the Norwegian forces in Afghanistan, get treated their applications again

Attacks FRP

In his last speech as party secretary also took Raymond Johansen confront several FRP representatives, which he believes helps to set groups against each other.

On Labor congress accused the outgoing party secretary several FRP representatives of fomenting the hatred and xenophobia.

– Johansen does not take into challenges, responding Hagen.

He noted that the Progress first candidate for City Council in Oslo, Carl I. Hagen, has again stated that Norway snikislamifiseres and FRP deputy Per Sandberg statements that the “colorful community and the multicultural experiment has failed.”

– Spreading uncertainty

– Muslims worldwide feel the fear and suspicion people have them. Comment fields flooded by hate and intimidation. When it disappoints me that representatives of one of the government parties will find it opportune to pour gasoline on the fire by spreading even more uncertainty, said Johansen.

– What is it they say to the more than 600,000 new Norwegians every day rises and sets on the job as tram drivers, doctors, construction workers and teachers. Or they 130.000 their children who are born in Norway. They say that these are not part of Norway’s future. I’m thundering disagree, raging Johansen from the pulpit.

He warned against rhetoric that creates a fear that eventually could put themselves in a whole society.

– We must never allow to set groups against each other to collect cheap political victories. When losing democracy, though one wins election, said Johansen.

– populist

Hagen commented that he believes Johansen inflict him opinions he has not.

I’ve spoken out against radicalization and extremism, but I have also repeated speeches talked about all the immigrants who are in work and struggling and stands on, says Hagen said.

– At the same time Johansen inward themselves the significant challenges that immigration provides. Instead discuss the real challenges we face in, he uses cheap and populist points to characterize their opponents, Hagen says.

After the speech elaborated Johansen why he chose to go so hard against unnamed FRP politicians.

– It is necessary. I pulled out statements that are not worthy, but attempts to split by talking about “us” and “them” rather than the large we. The word “snikislamifisering ‘is a dangerous word. It suggests that some want to introduce another religion into the back door. I think it is very serious, says Johansen said.
