Police drop appeal: Krekar will not have to move to Kyrksæterøra – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Mullah Krekar release forced relocation to Kyrksæterøra. At least in this game.

Oslo Police anchor namely not Borgarting High Court ruling of 20 March, which abolished police decisions and where it was established that the order was in violation of applicable law.

Police justifying the decision not to appeal that Krekar is in custody following threats he made in an NRK interview, and they believe there is reason to believe that he will be in prison one longer period,

– We would therefore not have to use their own and judicial resources on further litigation, said police inspector Vegard Rødås in a statement.

He says they will consider giving a new order “specific place” when Krekar release.

– It is important for police to have control of Krekar. There we have so long as he is in jail, says Roda.

Krekar was the Friday before Easter in custody for a further four weeks of threats and incitement to an offense. It is expected that a main hearing in this matter will commence later this spring, according to police.

Court of Appeal in its ruling, which is now enforceable, with criticism of the Justice Department instructed police in the case without they had the expertise to it.

Justice Minister Anders Anundsen (FRP) said he disagreed with the decision.
