Vestfoldbanen is closed between Tønsberg and Sande after a truck tore down the catenary on Holmestrand Station.
The same old E18, because railway crossing north of the train station is closed.

– Will take several hours
– It will take several hours to repair the catenary, informs Rail.
According to reporter Marie Olaussen on the site, catenary fell right at the railway crossing at the old E18. The transition is therefore closed.
– It is queued throughout Holmestrand center, and also north of the railway crossing, she says.
She says that traffic now sent through railway booms in the pools, and that the traffic coming from the north is ordered to turn back.
It should hang loose wires in both north and south of the boom. Probably the truck that broke down the wire run over railway crossing.
Police heading
– We’re headed there now. There are people on site who handles the situation. They also quickly grounded power there, Jan Kristian Johnsrud, operations manager at Vestfold Police.
