Norway gets national emergency numbers – Romsdals Budstikke

The new number that will put you in touch with the nearest medical facility, is 116,117, according to TV2.

On Wednesday Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) visiting Glåmdal intermunicipal out to see how the new the scheme will work. She says that no matter where you are in the country, should be able to call the new number to make an emergency.

– So you have to look for the different emergency numbers around in each municipality, says Solberg.

The number can be dialed if you need advice or facilitate medical assistance. If there is need for emergency assistance, should still call 113. (© NTB)
