Woman fell a hundred meters on a glacier in Troms – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): A woman has fallen on Rieppetinden south in the Lyngen Alps in Troms, reports the police. She must have fallen from a glacier.

Around 10:40 this morning have rescuers still little knowledge of the circumstances of the fall and damage the woman.

– We estimate that the decline is about one hundred meters. However, we are not yet sure if she fell in or from the glacier or if she has slipped. Air ambulance from Tromsø is in place now, the Sea King helicopter is slightly behind said rescue leader Olav Bjørgass by JRCC Northern Norway Dagbladet.

The rescue helicopter was arriving at the woman 10:49, and one rescuer were firet down.

According to TV2 woman was part of an entourage, and the others in the entourage is staying on site she fell from.

– We know nothing about her condition at the moment, but waiting for feedback, says Bjørgaas Dagbladet.
