Boys admit to sexual intercourse in rape case in Troms – Aftenposten

– There is a large discrepancy in statements about what should have happened. The aggrieved party says one thing, while the accused says otherwise. The accused stands completely puzzled by the accusations, says regional manager Morten Hole in Midtre Hålogaland police.

The 16 and 17 year old boys are charged with rape but not for sexual contact with children under 16 years. Both are interrogated and released, and none of them acknowledge guilt.

The alleged rape happened in the home of 17-year-old in a municipality in southern Troms. According to police, several of the boy’s family members to place in the house at the time.

– We’ve done away a substantial part of the investigation. We spent many resources on crime scene investigations and gather evidence night we got the message, until we later acquires testimonies, says regional manager in the police.

The 14 year old girl was on holiday in the area. Having come into contact with the two boys, she visited them. They were the first three boys, before one of them went home. It was only when 16- and 17-year-old should have abused the girl residing in Rogaland. (© NTB) (© NTB)
