Several letters from Breivik stopped – Aftenposten

It writes Anders Behring Breivik in a letter sent to Dagbladet dated in June this year. According to Breivik’s letter, which was addressed to several media companies, government agencies, organizations and private individuals, stopped because of the content.

Lawsuit

Breivik’s lawyer Øystein Storrvik confirms that letter, among other Norwegian media has been shut down.

– This will be a topic in the lawsuit against the state. It is problematic and fundamentally concerns with this type of censorship, especially when the letters are addressed to large Norwegian media companies.

– The insulation is by far the most important issue in the lawsuit, but we believe communication to large Norwegian media should be uncensored, says Storrvik.

Breivik believes prison conditions his is contrary to the European Convention on Human Rights which states that no one shall be subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
