A woman in her early 20s was assaulted and raped in Trysil center between at 03:00 and 4:10 in the night.
The police have started investigating the case and would like to get in touch with people who stayed in the area at the time the rape occurred.
– Police want to talk to people who stayed in the city against Øråneset hoping that someone can help to solve this atrocity, said operations manager Tom Kristiansen in Hedmark Police District.
It was the woman herself who alerted police about quarter past four o’clock in the night. It was carried out investigations of the crime scene during the morning hours and noon. Currently, the police get information to go on.
– We know that it is about an offender, and that there is a male figure. That’s all we know so far, says Kristiansen.
