Taxi driver robbed in Bergen – VG

A taxi driver was Saturday night robbed by two people and threatened with guns at Nesttun in Bergen.

Police were told about the robbery in Sandal road clock 00.44 after taxi driver triggered car robbery alarm, police said.

– The driver picked up passengers on Denmark space and drove up towards Nesttun. On a narrow side road he was threatened with a firearm. The two passengers then walked out of the car and into a waiting car, so much evidence that this was planned, said operations Morten crown in the Hordaland police.

The two passengers described as heavily built and shall possibly be Eastern Europeans. Police said the car they disappeared, most likely was a black Toyota pickup.

– We have a range patrols in the area and put large resources into the matter. We have dog patrols at the site and checks popular routes nearby, said crown.

The taxi driver did not physically injured during the robbery. It is not yet known what the two robbers were joined from the car.
