(Dagbladet): Today – fifth day – should almost 50,000 people in and out of Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL).

More departures and arrivals delayed Monday morning.

– It’s a little with the weather both in this country and elsewhere in Europe to do. Because of flurries, deicing and snow removal, there are some delays in and some out, says press contact Lasse André Vang Stein Dagbladet.

– We ask passengers to check our website or the airline’s pages for information on their flight, he says.

49 000 and 18 000

He says today is a normal romjulsdag at the airport.

– It is not critical or chaos, it is enough that way as we have had it otherwise at Christmas too. It’s winter, he said.

Today expected 49,000 travelers, Tuesday is expected approximately 45,000 and 31 December are expected little over 18,000 travelers.

As it takes up again.

New Year’s Day will approximately 38,500 out and fly, January 2 shall 55,700 aircraft and 3. January 38 300.

4. January is the big day.

– Then 64,000 out and fly.

According to the airport’s website is Monday talking about delays of approximately 15 minutes. One aircraft – which should have landed from Madrid at 11:45, landing not before 24:36. One aircraft, from Orsta / Volda, is set.

– Some aircraft may be fifteen minutes late, and other one-hour delayed. If a plane is delayed by one hour, so it’s wrong of me to say that it is up to an hour delay. There are so variable, says Vang Stein.

33 percent delayed

Yesterday, the fourth day of Christmas, was approximately 56/57 000 in and out of Oslo Airport.

The biggest travel day of Christmas was Friday before Christmas, December 19th. Then flew 75,000 people in and out of OSL.
