Nine out of ten emergency is feilrigning – P4 Radio Hele Norway ASA

 
     90 percent of all calls to the police emergency number 112 is false calls.
 
 

Many of them because all cell phones are programmed to call 112 without opening the keylock and without turning the digits of the phone.

It takes large and unnecessary resources out of the police, and the National Emergency Message project looking at possible measures to reduce the number – both awareness campaigns and technical solutions, newspaper VG reports.
