A 22-year-old man and a 17 year old girl got lost on the way down from the alpine Hafjell 1. Christmas Day. They will probably be taken down with helicopter ambulance.
The two Swedish youths were on their way down to Nermo hotel when they went astray.
– They came completely out of course, but we’ve got localized them. They are very difficult to, on the north side of the plant in a river valley. We are considering whether they should be retrieved using a helicopter ambulance, said operations manager at Gudbrandsdal Police Arne Power said.
The youth has been missing since 16.30 o’clock, and it’s 15 degrees below zero in the area.
– They have fortunately wearing good clothes, since they have been in the alpine, says Operations Manager.
Five rescue dogs from Norwegian Rescue Dogs participating in search and exploration crews from the Red Cross. Police received notification about the incident at 19.30 on Thursday night.
